This weekend the Scout section completed their Expedition Challenge Award. The Cubs this week went to Tim and Sue’s farm for Lambing Live 2016. We got to see all the new born lambs and their mums. We also got to look round all the horses in the stables! Brilliant night!

Over the past 12 months, Scouts have been busy designing the new neckerchief. A winning design was chosen and edited by our own graphic designer who used to be a member of the group. This will be rolled out over the next few months to all members of the group.
Sunday 6th March saw an excellent turn out from Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers at the Mothering Sunday Church Parade. Our Scouts performed a short play, gave out flowers to the mothers and read poems.
Our Cubs recently attended the celebrations at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, to commemorate 100 years of Cub Scouts. Despite the bad weather, the Cubs enjoyed a variety of rides, plus took part in a world record attempt, for the most people to sing “You’re Happy And You Know It” in one.
