Activities

For activities our sections are currently running, you can download their programmes from their individual pages.

As well as regular section nights, our Beavers hold ‘sleepovers’, whilst our Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Leaders attend camps regularly. These camps can either be held in indoor dormitories or under canvas in tents. We often use West Lancashire’s camp sites, which allow us to use their excellent facilities both on and off site.

Some of the activities on offer include:

Kayaking
Sailing
Raft Building
Hiking
Climbing (indoor and outdoor)
High and Low Ropes Courses
Orienteering
Skiing
Swimming
Archery
Shooting
Backwoods Cooking
Fire Making
and many more…
As well as these activities, the sections work hard to gain the challenge badges set out buy the Scout Association.

Such badges cover programme zones which include: Outdoor, Fitness, Beliefs and Attitudes, Community, Global and Creative Expression.
